About Improve Equine
Horse Supplement Standards You Can Trust.
Community Alignment You Can Feel.
We don’t just make products. We build systems that work for the horse, the professional, and the whole community. Because if it doesn’t hold up in the barn at 6am, it doesn’t belong in the bag.
“Full transparency: I’m not a giant corporation. I’m a founder who gets more excited about a horse taking a sip than about a quarterly projection. We’re in the building phase — and every partnership we have exists because it earned its place on our list. Not because it was cheap, not because it was easy. Because it was right.”
A handshake used to mean something. We’re building a brand where it still does.
Our Standards
We Hold Our Horse Supplement Standards to the Highest Bar.
And yes, we can prove it.
As members of the American Pet Products Association (APPA) and the Pet Sustainability Coalition, we prioritize ethical sourcing — not as a marketing line, but as a non-negotiable operational standard. If it doesn’t clear that bar, it doesn’t make the cut.
We are actively working toward membership in the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) and their Quality Seal program — the gold standard for animal health and nutritional supplements. It requires an independent third-party audit of your entire operation. It means what’s on the label is exactly what’s in the bag. No rounding up. No creative math. No proprietary blends. Just the thing. We’re doing the work to get there.
The Professional Dividend Program
The People Who Show Up for Our Horses Deserve to Be Compensated. Full Stop.
The professionals who show up for our horses deserve more than a thank-you card.
Here’s something the industry doesn’t talk about enough: we are quietly losing large animal veterinarians and equine PhD nutritionists to sectors that pay better. These are the people doing the hardest, least-glamorous work for our animals. And we think that deserves more than a thank-you card.
Through our Professional Dividend Program, when a vet or nutritionist recommends our Benchmark Clinical Series, they receive a direct dividend for their expertise. One link. One point of sale. No administrative maze for them to navigate, and no jumping through hoops on your end. Just a clean, direct connection between the expert recommendation and the product your horse needs.
We built it this way on purpose. Because if we make it hard for professionals to refer us, we’ve already missed the point. Veterinarians and nutritionists can register for the program here.
Community & Local Roots
We Live Here. We Ride Here. We Show Up Here.
We’re based just south of Marion County, Florida — a.k.a. the Horse Capital of the World® — and we take that seriously. We are proud to be part of the Ocala Metro Chamber & Economic Partnership (CEP) and their Equine Initiative, which is doing real, meaningful work to protect and grow this industry right in our backyard.
We also proudly sponsor the North Carolina Dressage & Combined Training Association (NCDCTA) — because the community doesn’t stop at the county line, and neither do we.
The Good Hands Initiative
Kindness Is Not a Marketing Strategy.
It’s just what you do.
One of my mantras is “What you focus on is what you feed.” Every week on TikTok (@improveequine), we call out the Good Hands — the people in the community who lead with patience, with quiet confidence, and with actual respect for their animals. No fanfare required. You don’t need a ribbon or a blue check to be a Good Hands. You just have to show up that way.
Our IMPACT Program
We’re a growing business. We’re not at the stage of writing massive corporate checks to rescues — and we’re not going to pretend we are. What we can do is use our platform to put rescues in front of the people who care. We spotlight them. We make it stupidly easy for our community to send farm-ily products directly to a rescue as a gift. We’re building the foundation now, so that when the revenue grows, the rescues grow with it… and so does our impact. That’s the plan, and we’re sticking to it.
