Description
Beetroot and banana. The flavor Trooper goes after first. Earthy root meets sweet fruit — a combination dogs recognize and reach for. Human-grade, clean, and made to actually get eaten. No added sugar, no salt, no copper, no fillers.
What’s Nanner Beets?
Nanner Beets is a single-pouch Improve Canine Flavors blend built around two whole foods: organically sourced beetroot powder and organically sourced banana powder. That’s the entire recipe. It’s designed to be used four different ways — as a daily food topper, a water bowl mix-in, a base for homemade “one-pocket” treats, or frozen into enrichment puzzles and lick-mat sessions.
Why beetroot?
Beetroot (Beta vulgaris) is one of the most talked-about foods in modern whole-food nutrition — earthy, grounding, and rich in the pigments that give it that deep ruby color. It’s a whole-food ingredient with a long culinary history on both sides of the species line.
Why banana?
Banana is the “yes” ingredient. Dogs recognize it, want it, and the natural sweetness gives a reluctant dog a reason to stick their face in the bowl. Banana is naturally dog-friendly and a familiar flavor most dogs already know from home kitchens. A good flavor only matters if the dog actually eats it.
How to use it
- FOOD TOPPER — sprinkle over kibble or wet food to boost palatability
- WATER MIX-IN — stir a small amount into your dog’s water bowl, especially handy for dogs who turn their nose up at new water when traveling
- TREAT BASE — combine with oat flour, a little water, and flaxseed to bake into simple homemade treats
- ENRICHMENT — mix with water, freeze into silicone molds or lick mats for slow-feed enrichment on crate-rest days or hot afternoons
What’s in it
- Organically sourced beetroot powder
- Organically sourced banana powder
- Human-grade. Made in Land O’ Lakes, Florida.
What’s NOT in it
- No added sugar, no added salt
- No copper, no fillers, no gums, no “natural flavors”
- No artificial colors or flavors
- No grain other than optional oat flour if you bake it into treats (you control that part)
Good to know
Beetroot may temporarily tint urine or stool pink — this is harmless and expected, caused by the natural betalain pigments in the root.
